According to BoxOffice.com's Early Weekend Estimates, Hannah Montana: The Movie is on pace to gross $35 million this weekend, while some estimate it will reaching the $40 million mark.

The opening will make HMTM the second-highest grossing Easter weekend release behind Scary Movie 4 [2006] which grossed $40.2 million [$44.1 million when adjusted for inflation]. Hannah Montana: The Movie weekend gross: $35,000,000 Fast & Furious weekend gross: $28,000,000

Miley Cyrus Premieres Hannah Montana in Rome



Miley Cyrus is pretty in purple at the premiere of Hannah Montana The Movie in Rome, Italy on Monday evening (April 20).

The 16-year-old actress attended a photo call for the flick earlier in the day.

Miley will soon be heading off to Savannah, Ga., to start shooting The Last Song. The film is centered on a rebellious young woman (Cyrus) who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.

Miley Cyrus officially wants to get back together with her ex-boyfriend
Nick Jonas, according to New York Daily News. Although she's been dating underwear model Justin Gaston for nearly eight months, an insider said that her heart belongs to first love Nick. And the two, who split in 2007, have found it impossible to stay apart from one another.

The source spilled: 'Miley and Nick want to get back together. Because they're working together [on a new video], they've been put in close proximity to each other. They're now spending more and more time together, and they're constantly on the phone.'

When the two get together now they are very affectionate: 'Miley was over at the Jonas house recently, and they were smooching. Nick's parents have this rule that when a girl is over, the door has to be open, but that didn't stop Nick and Miley from making out.'

The couple is 'very sweet together,' but Miley is having trouble telling Justin.
She even cried about the situation. 'Miley doesn't know how to tell Justin that they're over, but Nick is being very firm with her. He's a good, stand-up kind of guy, and is making Miley tell Justin very, very soon. He's being tough about it.'

Miley recently told Ryan Seacrest, 'Me and Nick.. talk all the time and he is one my best friends. We really love each other, and I am happy we have been able to stay such good friends.'

Miley Cyrus is very upset with online criticism, claiming that if she'd was smaller, she be deemed 'too skinny' and if she was bigger she'd be called
'too fat'. Miley told the press:

'I think they're hard on the celebrities featured but the kids that go on there as well. I'm a normal girl and if I was any smaller, I'd be 'too skinny' and if I was any bigger I'd be 'too fat,' there's never perfection.

But if the sites show pictures of me on the red carpet and then kids think 'that's what you're supposed to look like.' I think it gets people mixed up- not only the celebrities, but the kids reading it as well. I think it's all trash.' INF.
